Applying For A Job
1. To apply for jobs, either click on your preferred Job Category on the front page and narrow your search, or click on jobSearch and search for jobs from there.

2. Use the jobsearch option to bring up a list of suitable jobs. You can Add attractive looking jobs to your Clipboard by clicking on 'Add'. Once you've selected as many jobs as you like, click on the View Clipboard link to view more details.
|

|
3. The View Clipboard screen displays all the positions you have posted to the clipboard. From here you can look at each job in detail by clicking on the Job Title, and remove any unsuitable jobs.
|
|
4. To apply for remaining jobs, simply Login near the top of the screen if you are a member, or click on the Join link to provide a few basic details and upload your CV.
You will be asked to confirm your profile and then a screen will be displayed acknowledging that the application has been forwarded. Furthermore, you will receive an email for your records that will also confirm your application.

Glossary of Terms
This area is being routinely updated as we add new items and change others to reflect your requests and requirements.
myHiring
- is a candidate or employer specific personal location providing either with password protected access to a site management system. This area provides access to all site features and also acts as a source of updates. The results of searchAgents or beHeadHunted queries are posted here, as are executiveHead and graduateHead responses. In addition, there is a full navigation system allowing everything from creating a CV/resume to posting a job and for the employer there are a host of applicant management systems.
executiveCentre
- is especially for middle and senior personnel in any field of expertise or in management. Positions available here require considerable experience and are usually at the top end of the remuneration scale. Such positions may be available on a contract or permanent basis up to board or advisory level. The executive centre provides for executive placements on a highly confidential basis. Candidates may make themselves available to be headhunted discretely on our executiveHeads section without revealing contact information.
graduateCentre
- is specifically for those school leavers or final year college students who expect to be seeking City graduate jobs in the near future. Make yourself available for prospective employers to contact you by creating your profile with us. Apply for jobs in Dublin advertised by employers hiring graduates specifically. It takes just a few minutes to build your CV/resume with us and is well worth the investment. Use this CV to apply for jobs online or print it and apply to your chosen press advertisements or directly to employers. Put your profile on our graduateHeads and have employers contact you.
onlineCV
- allows candidates to upload a CV/resume by either completing an online set of forms that take a few minutes or by uploading an already completed version from their computer through a browse and upload facility. A candidate may apply for jobs using either version. It is recommended that the online CV/Resume be completed at some stage as this provides each candidate with the greatest flexibility.
bizCard
- gives a profile of a registered employer with employer type, address, live vacancies and optional corporate description and logo.
directHiring
- a contract between employer and individual where the individual provides services to an employer in return for direct payment.
indirectHiring
- a contract through an agent where an individual is provided to an employer through an agency for an administration fee. The individual may be paid by the employer directly or paid by the agency. The agency bills the employer for the pay and fee element.
beHeadHunted
- a facility to advertise your skills and experience without personal information. Employers may contact you with specific job details and you can choose to respond for further information before providing an application or expressing interest. You control to whom you provide information.
searchAgent
- allows you to specify your job or candidate search criteria under several key areas and have the search results available to you at your myHiring centre. You may have several different searchAgents running on the system at any one etime. searchAgents allow you to be very specific with your candidate and job search criteria but we suggest that you begin the process as a general search and refine as required.
